We have completed building a brand new lodge set on a bluff that has the most magnificent view overlooking the Cook Inlet in Ninilchik, Alaska that you will ever see.

This new Chautauqua Lodge is NOW available for occupancy during the 2007 fishing season.

Our new lodge was designed and built for YOU, the fisherman, and your family and friends.

Our guest accommodations offer private rooms for two or accommodations for up to six guests. We designed our guest rooms to accommodate groups of varying size. All accommodations are designed for double occupancy.

As a guest of Chautauqua Lodge, you’ll be able to relax in one of our very comfortable and beautiful waterfront guest rooms on our property off the scenic Ninilchik shoreline.

2. Meals — We know that nothing can work up an appetite like a great day of Alaska fishing, so it is our pleasure to offer our guests unmatched gourmet cuisine. You’ll enjoy an early breakfast each day, (so you can catch the boat), followed by prepared lunch while onboard the boat. Then, when you return at the end of the day, you’ll be treated to true gourmet cuisine prepared by our Chef, Mariah.

Our fresh seafood is among the best in the world as you can see.

3. Your Fishing Boat — A great fishing boat is as essential to fishing success as is a great captain, so you want a boat that’s safe, fast, comfortable, and well-equipped. At Chautauqua Lodge, the boats are large, steady on the water, fast to the fish and equipped with state of the art equipment and gear. Our top boat is the 30' Bayweld Boat "Rebel".

4. Certified Professional Captains — You’re coming here to do some serious Alaska fishing, so you want an experienced guide who knows where the fish are in the waters of Homer and the Cook Inlet and can put you on them. That’s exactly what you’ll get at Chautauqua Lodge. Our guides are led by Captain Scott Hines and his crew.
Captain Scott Hines is a US Coast Guard certified captain and his guys have years of experience on the Homer waters. Our guides and their attention to service will ensure a great Homer fishing experience.

5. Service —

Quite simply, when it comes to service there is no other Alaska fishing lodge like the Chautauqua Lodge. Our service standards, amenities and spectacular setting are unique and unmatched.

The main lodge has 4 guest rooms that can accommodate 6-8 total people.

Upstairs, the cozy "State Room" will offer a view of the forested area of the property.

The downstairs spacious "Green and Gold Rooms" will give guests a breath-taking view of the Cook Inlet, the famous "Ring Of Fire" volcanoes and the forests.

Future planning includes 3 additional cabins to accommodate up to 8 more guests.
